Iran's TPICO shares data on imports

Tamin Pharmaceutical Investment Company (TPICO) has produced 40 medical products for the first time in Iran from the start of the current Iranian year (started March 20, 2020)until now, said the CEO of TPICO.

"Part of these newly produced products are related to Coronavirus treatment and the company has produced the basic materials for these products like favipiravir and Remdesivir. The company has produced 130 products in last Iranian year (started March 21, 2019) that was previously used to be imported valued at $50 million," said Pouya Farhat, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"The TPICO has sold 168 products in the market in current Iranian year (started March 20, 2020). The company is working on progressive projects in laboratories and production factories valued about $19 million in current Iranian year (started March 20, 2020), the value of projects will increase to $714 million in coming years," he said.

Tamin Pharmaceutical Investment Company (TPICO) is the largest pharmaceutical holding company in Iran, which has been operating since 1992 and is the largest Iranian exporter of pharmaceutical products.
