Physical volume of Kazakhstan's GDP for 2020 revealed

The physical volume of Kazakhstan’s GDP amounted to 70.1 trillion tenge ($167.7 billion based on current exchange rate) over 2020, which is 2.6 percent less than during 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Some 55.7 percent of the total GDP value account for paid services, 38.5 percent account for goods manufacturing, and 5.8 percent account for net tax.

The volume of goods manufacturing amounted to 26.9 trillion tenge ($64.5 billion) over 2020, which is 2 percent more than in 2019.

Of this amount, 18.9 trillion tenge ($45.05 billion) accounts for goods produced in industry, which is 0.4 percent less than in 2019; 4.2 trillion tenge ($10.1 billion) - for the construction sphere, which is 11.2 percent more; and 3.7 trillion tenge ($8.9 billion) - for agriculture, fishery and forestry, which is 5.6 percent more than in 2019.

In turn, 39.1 trillion tenge ($93.5 billion) of Kazakhstan’s GDP accounted for services, which is 5.4 percent less than in 2019.

Net tax stood at 4.06 trillion tenge ($9.7 billion) of GDP, which is 4.6 percent less than during the same period of last year.
