The Azerbaijani Azexport portal implemented export orders worth $53.9 million in January 2021, Trend reports citing Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
For 49 months of its activity, the Azexport portal has fulfilled orders for the supply of non-oil products from Azerbaijan in the amount of $2.25 billion to 143 countries of the world.
In January 2021, the TOP-10 exported goods of the Azexport portal were as follows: cotton oil, hazelnuts, tea, pomegranate juice, chicken meat, onions, sunflower oil, wine, cosmetics, and persimmons.
Azexport portal (www.azexport.az) was created by order of the head of state ‘On the creation of a unified database of goods produced in Azerbaijan’ dated September 21, 2016.
The portal is functioning under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. Its goal is to provide information on the goods of Azerbaijani origin. This portal is an effective platform for the sale of these goods in foreign and domestic markets.
