Qom Province plans mine exploration and production development

Industry, Mining and Trade Organization in Iran's Qom Province plans to develop production and mine exploration, director-general of the province's Industry, Mining and Trade Organization Mahmoud Sijani told Trend.

"We have predicted to launch of about 110 semi-finished projects last Iranian year (started March 20,2020) and through bank loans, 153 new production companies were launched, backed by $230 million worth of investments,"Sijani said.

"This created some 1,300 jobs," he added.

Sijani said this development increased the production capacity and also will boost creation of new products.

"It was predicted that 30 inactive production companies would be revived and as a result, 37 companies were reactivated, thanks to some $140 million of investment," he said. "This created from 600 to 700 jobs."

"The organization's main measure last Iranian year (started March 20,2020) was to remove problems of industrial and production companies by forming a working group that held meetings weekly," he said.

"These meetings discussed main issues and necessary support of production that led to production success in the province," he said.
