Legal entities and individuals in Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with partners from 142 countries in the first 2 months of 2021, Trend reports citing data from the State Statistical Committee.
During the specified period, Azerbaijan exported products to 79 countries and imported goods from 133 countries.
“The value of Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover in the reporting period amounted to $4.51 billion, including exports - $2.9 billion, imports - $1.6 billion. As a result, the trade surplus amounted to about $1.2 billion,” the committee said.
At the same time, the value of foreign trade turnover decreased by 7.5 percent year on year, and in real terms - by 17.1 percent, imports - by 28.3 percent, exports - by 10.6 percent.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported non-oil products worth $331.3 million, which in actual prices is 12.1 percent more compared to the same period of 2020, and in real terms - 3.2 percent less.
