Kazakhstan’s 2021 export value forecast to increase y-o-y

Kazakhstan’s annual export value is forecast to increase by $10.8 billion in 2021 to $52.2 billion in 2021, Trend reports citing the press office of the country’s government.

The import volume is forecast to be $37.1 billion. Inflation is to remain between 4-6 percent. Taking into account these indicators, forecasts for Kazakhstan’s 2021 state budget were revised.

Thus, the revenues to the state budget are to be 7.2 trillion tenge ($16.6 billion), which is 279 billion tenge ($644.3 million) more than the previously approved plan.

The value of the guaranteed transfer from the National Fund does not change and is to amount to 2.7 trillion tenge ($6.2 billion). The target transfer from the National Fund has been increased from 1 trillion tenge to 1.8 trillion tenge (from $2.3 billion to $4.2 billion).

The expenditures of the state budget are forecast to be 15.3 trillion tenge ($35.4 billion), which is 1.2 trillion tenge more than the plan ($2.9 billion). The state budget deficit is to equal 3.5 percent of the country’s GDP.
