Iran declares value of exports from cooperative enterprises in Razavi Khorasan Province

The value of exports from cooperative enterprises in the Razavi Khorasan Province (northeastern Iran) amounted to $93.9 million in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), an official of the Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare Department of Razavi Khorasan Province Aghil Mokhtari told IRNA, Trend reports.

The official emphasized that the exported goods were mainly saffron, rubber products, pistachios, tomato paste, jams, pickles, handicrafts, hand-woven carpets, gasoline, diesel and others.

“These goods were mainly exported to Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Iraq, China, the UAE, Oman, Turkey, Spain, France and Germany,” he added.

Mokhtari noted that about $93 million worth of goods were to be exported from cooperative enterprises of the province over last Iranian year. Despite the unfavorable economic conditions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, there was an increase in exports.

The official said that there are 7,290 cooperative enterprises operating in Razavi Khorasan Province, which employ more than 120,000 people.
