Entrepreneurs from China, Turkey, and Afghanistan purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel, petroleum bitumen, base oil, and petroleum coke produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of Turkmenistan during trading on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
In addition, businessmen from Russia and Kyrgyzstan bought cotton yarn and terry products on the exchange in foreign currency.
During the reporting period, the total amount of transactions on the exchange in foreign currency exceeded $21.1 million.
In addition, transactions were made on the exchange in Turkmen mantas last week. So, entrepreneurs from the UAE purchased tea with licorice root in the amount of $100,000 manat $(28,542).
Local businessmen also purchased polypropylene and packaging film produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, as well as handmade carpets and cotton fiber in the amount of more than 37.2 million Turkmen manat ($10.6 million).
