Iran releases data of exports from Arvand Free Trade Zone

About $61 million worth of goods were exported from Iran's Arvand Free Trade Zone in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through April 20, 2021), Deputy Chairman of Business Development and Investment of Arvand Free Zone Organization, Ali Mousavi told IRNA, Trend reports.

İn the same month last Iranian year, about $10 million worth of goods was exported from this zone, according to the Mousavi.

The deputy chairman added that the exported goods were construction materials, clinker, mining products, various technical oils, food products, including dates and dairy products.

“The goods were mainly exported to Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, China, Australia, Germany and CIS countries,” he said.

Mousavi noted that moreover, $3 million worth of goods were transited through the Arvand Free Trade Zone in the first month.

Iran's Arvand Free Trade Zone is located on an area of 37,400 hectares between the cities of Abadan, Khorramshahr and Minushahr in Iran's Khuzestan Province.
