The number of purchases and sales of real estate in Kazakhstan amounted to 175,040 transactions over the period from January through April 2021, which is 2.5 times more than during the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
The total number of buy/sell transactions in Kazakhstan in Apr. 2021 amounted to 59,689 transactions which are 13.3 percent more than in Mar. 2021 and 11.5 times more than during the same month of 2020.
The largest number of transactions was observed in the Mangystau region where it amounted to 8,761 transactions, which is 11.1 percent less than in Mar. 2021 and 32.2 times than in Apr. 2020.
Mangystau is followed by Almaty city with 7,952 transactions, which is 22.7 percent more than during Mar. 2021 and 17.5 times more than in Apr. 2020.
Karaganda region takes third place (7,284 transactions in Apr. 2021), showing a 19.5-percent increase compared to Mar. 2021 and 12.4-times more compared to Apr. 2020.
The least number of purchases and sale of housing transactions during Apr. 2021 was observed in the North Kazakhstan region (940 transactions, increase by 36.8 percent compared to March 2021 and by 6.2 times compared to Apr. 2020).
