Kazakhstan's inflation rate for April 2021 revealed

The prices of food and non-food products increased by 1 percent in Kazakhstan in April 2021, compared to March 2021, Trend reports citing Statistics Committee.

The prices of paid services have also increased by 0.5 percent month-on-month.

An increase in prices was noted for beets by 17.1 percent, potatoes by 12 percent, carrots by 10.5 percent, sunflower oil by 2.7 percent, granulated sugar by 2.5 percent, chicken legs by 2.3 percent, fresh fruit by 2 percent, mutton by 1.7 percent, meat products by 1.2 percent, cereals by 1 percent, pork by 0.9 percent, pasta, tea, pasteurized milk by 0.8 percent each, flour by 0.7 percent, beef by 0.6 percent.

Mineral and drinking water rose in price by 2 percent, soft drinks by 0.9 percent, alcoholic beverages by 0.7 percent.

A decrease in prices was recorded for cucumbers by 9.6 percent, oranges by 1.5 percent, tomatoes by 1.1 percent, rice by 0.6 percent.

The increase in prices for household appliances was by 2 percent, personal goods, glass and ceramic products, building materials by 0.7 percent each, cars by 0.6 percent.

In turn, gasoline went up in price by 6 percent, diesel fuel by 0.9 percent.
