Volume of manufactured products increased in Turkmenistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 8

The volume of products manufactured in Turkmenistan increased by 3.8 percent from January through April 2021, compared to the same period last year, Trend reports, citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The volume of retail trade increased by 17.5 percent during the reporting period, compared from January through April 2020.

The plan for the revenue part of the state budget was exceeded by 28.3 percent, while the expenditure part was implemented – by 96 percent.

The average monthly salary increased by 10.5 percent in comparison with the corresponding period in 2020.

Turkmenistan saw an increase of 2.3 percent in the volume of disbursed investments from all sources of financing in the reporting period, in comparison with the same period last year.

The GDP growth rate of Turkmenistan amounted to 5.9 percent in 1Q2021.

Production in the country increased by 3.2 percent compared to the same period last year.

Retail trade turnover in Turkmenistan increased by 17.7 percent in 1Q2021, compared to the 1Q2020.
