More than 45,200 tons of propylene were produced in Azerbaijan from January through May 2021, which is 0.9 percent more compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee's report.
At the same time, 52,400 tons of polyethylene were produced in the country, which is a decrease of 8.4 percent on annual basis.
According to the report, the volume of ethylene produced in the country over the reporting period amounted to 52,700 tons, having dropped by 8.7 percent over the year.
