Azerbaijan’s export to Spain in the first 5 months of 2021 has increased, Trend reports referring to the statistical bulletin of Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
According to the bulletin, Azerbaijan exported goods worth $342.32 million to Spain in the reporting period (an increase of 3.6 times year on year).
Thus, the share of Spain in the total export of Azerbaijan increased from 1.38 percent to 4.61 percent.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan’s imports from Spain rose by 12.1 percent (up to 29.13 million). The share of Spain in Azerbaijan's total imports amounted to 0.66 percent against 0.62 percent in the same period of 2020.
The trade turnover between the countries from January through May 2021 amounted to $371.4 million, which is 3 times more than in the same period of last year.
Besides, the balance of foreign trade turnover remained positive making up $313 million.
