Poland interested in strengthening co-op with Uzbekistan in state asset management

Poland is interested in strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan in the field of state assets management, Trend reports with reference to Dunyo news agency.

The issue was discussed during the meeting of Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland Bahrom Babaev with State Secretary of Polish Ministry of State Assets Artur Soboń.

Poland is ready to share its experience in improving legislation in the field of state assets management, the principles, system and methods of supervision at enterprises with state participation, the introduction of modern methods of corporate governance, financial rehabilitation of economically insolvent enterprises with state participation, said the report.

The issues of establishing cooperation between Poland and the Agency for Management of State Assets of Uzbekistan were also considered.

The parties agreed to organize a visit of Uzbek Agency for Management of State Assets’ delegation to Poland in September-October 2021.

Earlier, during the meeting of representatives of the two countries, issues of Uzbek-Polish relations in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields were discussed.
