Poland is open to foreign investors, including investors from Georgia, the Ministry of Economic Development, Labour and Technology of Poland told Trend.

"We are constantly taking active steps to create system solutions beneficial for entrepreneurs. We implement the Plan for Work and Development, i.e. it is helpful for companies that found themselves in a difficult situation in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, we provide subsidies to those who have lost their jobs and would like to start their own business," said the ministry.

According to the ministry, it has prepared numerous reliefs for entrepreneurs, e.g. tax breaks for research and development or within the Polish Investment Zone. The Polish Investment Zone is an offer for investors which means numerous tax reliefs available to investors throughout Poland.

"The relief depends on the expenditure and unemployment rate in a given region what encourage investors to regions that have so far been overlooked by them," the source added.

Entrepreneurs from Georgia could also use these instruments. Investment opportunities in Poland exist in many sectors, the ministry noted.

"Development prospects are in the sector of modern business services, climate protection, modern technologies, industrial processing and oil and gas exploration market," said the source.
