New enterprises put into operation in Iran's Mazandaran Province

As many as 56 enterprises in the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) were licensed to be put into operation during the first four months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through July 22, 2021), Chairman for the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Mazandaran Province Hossseinghouli Qovanlu said, Trend reports citing the organization.

The chairman said that 6.18 trillion rials (about $147 million) has been spent on these enterprises. With the operation of these enterprises, 2,160 people were provided with jobs.

Qovanlu added that the expenses on the operation of these enterprises within 4 months, increased by 265 percent, while the employment by 182 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.

“Moreover, 295 enterprises in the province were licensed to be setting up over the mentioned period. About 31.9 trillion rials (about $761 million) is to be spent on these enterprises, and as a result, 5,350 people are expected to be employed,” he noted.
