A total of 40,674 passenger cars were manufactured in Kazakhstan from January through July 2021, which is 26.6 percent more than during the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
In turn, passenger car production in July alone amounted to 6,118 cars, which also is 43.6 percent more than in July 2020.
The number of cargo vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan during the reporting period stood at 5,302 vehicles (1,049 in July), of specialized vehicles at 119 (10 in July).
Furthermore, the number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured in July 2021 amounted to 36, which is 64.7 percent less than in July 2020. The number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured over the reporting period stood at 376 vehicles, which is 75.2 percent less than during the same period of last year.
In turn, spare parts for vehicle output amounted to 51,775 during seven months and 8,535 in July 2021, which is 4.7 percent and 16.8 percent more respectively than during the same period of 2020.
Twenty diesel locomotives were also manufactured in Kazakhstan over seven months of 2020, and three in July alone.
