Azerbaijani Civil Service shares data on state property privatized at auctions

The department for organizing auctions for the sale of state property of the State Property Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan held 45 auctions from January through September 15, 2021, Trend reports via Civil Service.

About 72 percent, or 122 units of privatized state property objects, fell on vehicles.

"At these auctions, a total of 170 objects of state property were privatized, in particular, blocks of shares of 17 joint-stock companies, 29 small state-owned enterprises, two unfinished objects, and 122 vehicles," the Ministry said.

The Civil Service held another auction on September 14, following which eight state property objects were privatized. All of them are vehicles. Some 22 applications were filed for state property put up for privatization auction in total.

Those wishing to participate in the auction must register and pay a deposit of 10 percent of the initial auction value of the object, thereby obtaining the status of the customer. This can be submitted on the official website of the Civil Service (emlak.gov.az) or on the portal privatization.az.

On the day of the auction, you can join the auction by selecting the "Electronic auction” section on the electronic services portal (e-emdk.gov.az).
