Iran's CORC seeks to implement the joint action plan with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the CEO of Central Organization for Rural Cooperatives (CORC) of Iran announced, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
Esmail Ghaderifar made remarks at a meeting with the delegation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
He went on to ask for collaboration in three sectors with JICA, including process industries, transfer of successful experiences regarding exploitation systems, and holding meetings.
JICA cooperation and Technology Transfer in Agriculture will lead to the development of rural areas in Iran, he said.
In September 2020, the Chief Representative of JICA in Iran Office AZUMA Taro said with the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, Iran and Japan have deepened the mutual cooperation, and JICA, as a governmental organization of Japan, will take an active role for supporting the further national development of Iran.
In order to strengthen the economic and social infrastructure development in Iran, JICA is seeking to enhance cooperation on Strengthening Infrastructure, Enhancement of Job Creation, Disaster Risk Reduction, Water Resources Management, and so forth.
JICA also supports the expansion of bilateral relations in private sectors.
