The cost of products sold in retail chains in Azerbaijan in 11M2021 amounted to 38.327 billion manats ($22.5 million), which is 8.56 percent more than the same period last year, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee's data.
According to the information, retail turnover of food, drinks, and tobacco products amounted to 20.75 billion manats ($12.2 billion), non-food products - 17.57 billion manats ($10.3 billion). The cost of sold food products increased by 9.33 percent compared to the same period in 2020, non-food products - by 7.86 percent.

Thus, during the reporting period, the population directed 54.1 percent of funds for the purchase of foodstuffs, 15.7 percent - textiles, clothing and footwear, 5.3 percent - furniture and electrical appliances, 6.0 percent - automobile fuel, 2.2 percent - pharmaceutical and medical products, 1.0 percent - computers, telecommunications equipment and printing products; 15.7 percent - other non-food products.
The average monthly retail trade turnover per capita amounted to 347.9 manats ($204.71).
