An online webinar on "Competitive advantages of GS1 standards and increase of the export potential of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)" was held in Azerbaijan, Trend reports referring to the State Tax Service (STS).
According to the information, representatives of the Main Directorate of Tax Policy of the STS, the Training Center, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, leading taxpayers from among the enterprises engaged in the production of meat took part in the webinar.
The participants discussed the difficulties faced by the local producers, advanced proposals for the import of fixed assets and materials for production, the use of tax incentives for manufacturers of meat and dairy products, registration of business entities, and criteria for risky taxpayers.
Besides, appropriate explanations on the issues raised at the webinar, and information about benefits provided for the production and sale of agricultural products were given.
All the proposals made by the businessmen at the event will be taken into account, and cooperation between the state and business will continue, added the STS.
