Iran’s CBI shares data on value of GDP in services sector

The value of the gross domestic product (GDP) in Iran’s services sector (trade, restaurant, transport, communication, monetary and financial institutions, professional and private, public, and so on) amounted to 4 quadrillion rials (about $95.2 billion), during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

According to the statistics, the value of GDP in the services sector increased by 5.7 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

So, the value of GDP in the services sector amounted to about 3.78 quadrillion rials (about $90.1 billion) in the same period last Iranian year.

Moreover, the share of the services sector in Iran's gross domestic product was 45.1 percent in 6 months, the report said.

As reported, the value of Iran’s GDP (including crude oil) amounted to 7.53 quadrillion rials (about $179 billion) over the first six months of the current Iranian year. This is an increase of 3.3 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, the figure stood at 7.28 quadrillion rials (about $174 billion) in the same period last Iranian year.
