The total trade volume between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan reached $21.62 million in January 2022, a 20-fold increase from $1.37 million in the same period of 2021, Trend reports on citing the statistics data of Azerbaijan’s Customs Committee.
In January 2022, Turkmenistan exported goods worth $17.66 million to Azerbaijan, an increase of 17 times from $102,360 in January of 2021.
Turkmenistan’s share in the total volume of Azerbaijan’s imports amounted to 1.81 percent during the reporting period of 2022, compared to 0.01 percent during the same period of 2021.
Turkmenistan’s imports from Azerbaijan amounted to $3.96 million
in January 2022, up by three times compared to $1.27 million in the
same period of 2021.
Turkmenistan’s share in the total volume of Azerbaijan’s exports
amounted to 0.13 percent during the reporting period of 2022,
compared to 0.08 percent during the same period of 2021.
In January 2022, Turkmenistan was one of the top countries from which Azerbaijan imported goods.
Turkmenistan was in the top 10 among the countries Azerbaijan exported its non-oil goods.
