Kazakhstan's coal production down

Kazakhstan has extracted 10.1 million tons of coal in January 2022, which is 4.7 percent less than during the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Furthermore, crude oil extraction including gas condensate was 7.8 million tons during the reporting period, which is 12.1 percent more than during the same period of 2020.

Kazakhstan also extracted 5.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas during January 2022, which is 12 percent more year-on-year.

Fuel oil manufacturing volume stood at 275,900 tons during the reporting period, which is 6.1 percent more than during the same period of 2021.

Kerosene manufacturing amounted to 53,400 tons over January 2021 (up by 54.3 percent), whereas gasoil manufacturing equaled 373,400 tons (up by 13.3 percent).

Hydrocarbon liquefied gases output was 99,300 tons in January 2022, which is 2.3 percent less than during January 2021.

Electricity generation over January 2022 equaled 10.7 billion kWh, which is 2.2 percent less than during the same period of 2021.

The volume of thermal energy generated in January 2022 amounted to 12.4 million Gcal with an annual decrease of 7.3.
