Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed silver in Kazakhstan amounted to 166,260 kg over the period from January through February 2022, which is 4.4 percent less than during the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

According to the data, non-processed and semi-processed silver production amounted to 89,634 kg in February 2022, which is 11.6 percent more than in February 2021.

Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed gold increased by 12.6 percent during the reporting period, having amounted to 18,932 kg (10,515 kg in February 2022, an increase of 35.3 percent compared to February 2021).

Production of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide amounted to 259,501 tons during the reporting period, which indicates an increase of 1.5 percent compared to the same period of last year.

The production volume of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide was 129,967 tons in February 2022, which is 6.2 percent more than in February 2021.

Manufacturing of non-processed refined lead amounted to 18,508 tons over the reporting period, which is 5.3 percent more than during the same period of 2021. The volume of non-processed refined lead produced in February 2022 was 9,517 tons, which is 12.7 percent more than in February 2021.

Production of non-processed zinc amounted to 49,506 tons, which is 2.9 percent less than during the same period of 2021 (23,739 tons in February 2022, down by 3 percent compared to February 2021).

As reported, the manufacturing of non-processed non-alloyed refined copper amounted to 79,304 tons, which is 3.1 percent less than during the same period of 2021 (38,680 tons in February 2022, which is 5.5 percent less than in February 2021).

Manufacturing of other non-ferrous metals and products from them amounted to 7,350 tons, which is 86.6 percent more than during the same period of 2021 (3,916 tons in February 2022, up by 70.6 percent compared to February 2021).
