BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 4. Iran’s exports through the customs of Qom Province increased by 92 percent in value and 135 percent in volume, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021), Director General of Qom Province Customs Office, Esfandiar Derikvandi told IRNA, Trend reports.

The director general emphasized that in total, about 296,000 tons of goods worth about $284 million worth of goods were exported through the customs of the Qom Province last Iranian year.

“Meanwhile, in the preceding Iranian year, the country’s exports through the province’s customs amounted to 126,000 tons worth $148 million,” he added.

Derikvandi also noted that a total of 62,200 tons of goods worth $303 million were imported through the province's customs within the last Iranian year.

According to the official, customs revenues of Iran’s Qom Province for the last Iranian year amounted to 3.08 trillion rials (about $73.4 million).
