BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 24. A total of 27,335 passenger cars were manufactured in Kazakhstan from January through April 2022, which is 19.2 percent more than during the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
In turn, passenger car production in April alone amounted to 7,804 cars, which also is 46.6 percent more than in April 2021.
The number of cargo vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan during the reporting period stood at 2,699 vehicles (432 in April), specialized vehicles – 81 (16 in April).
Furthermore, the number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured in April 2022 amounted to 50, which is 10.7 percent less than in April 2021. The number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured over the reporting period stood at 201 vehicles, which is 3.8 percent less than during the same period of last year.
In turn, spare parts for vehicle output amounted to 97,328 during four months of 2022 and 13,497 35 in April 2022, which is 3.3 times and 66.4 percent more respectively than during the same period of 2021.
A total of 10 diesel locomotives were also manufactured in Kazakhstan over four months of 2022.
