BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. Kazakhstan will be extracting 1.78 million barrels a day of oil and other liquids in 2Q2022 (as compared to 1.75 million barrels a day of oil and other liquids forecast in the previous report), Trend reports with reference to the June Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO) of the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The report said that extraction in 1Q2022 amounted to 2.01 million barrels a day.
The EIA forecasts that oil production will stand at 1.96 million in 3Q2022, and 2 million in 4Q2022 (1.91 million and 2.01 million in the previous report, respectively).
Furthermore, the EIA forecasts that Kazakhstan’s liquids output will equal 1.94 million barrels a day in 2022 (1.92 million barrels a day in the previous report).
The annual 2023 liquids production in Kazakhstan is also forecast to be at 2 million barrels a day, the report said (1.98 million barrels a day in the previous report)
