TEHRAN, Iran, June 14. Iranian government's priority is to boost infrastructure and production in the agriculture sector, said the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Alireza Mohajer, Trend reports citing IRNA.
He pointed out that the government's agenda is to produce and supply food items by using modern agriculture technology.
Mohajer went on to say that the Ministry of Agriculture is offering 200 trillion rials (about $4.7 billion) to the country's food industries to prevent possible damage to agricultural products.
According to the official, the ministry is seeking to produce high-quality products by using modern technology with aid of the government and investor's support.
