BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 20. Coal concentrate production of two companies operating under the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) increased by 41 percent, during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the IMIDRO’s website.

According to the report, the mentioned two companies produced a total of 118,971 tons of coal concentrate in two months. The the figure stood at 84,116 tons in the same period last Iranian year.

Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company produced 105,295 tons of coal concentrate, and Central Alborz Coal Company - 13,676 tons within the mentioned period.

About 1.82 million tons of coal minerals were extracted by the two IMIDRO companies in two months. It should be noted that of the mentioned amount, only 18,000 tons accounted for the Central Alborz Coal Company.

Within two months, 114,687 tons of coal concentrate were sent to local companies in the country. This is an increase of 7 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year (106,718).
