BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 2. Iran's trade turnover with Russia amounted to about 889,000 tons worth more than $508 million, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi told Trend.
According to Latifi, Iran exported about 303,000 tons of goods worth about $115 million in 3 months.
In addition, Iran imported about 586,000 tons of goods worth about $394 million, the official added.
The spokesman also pointed out that Russia ranked first in Iran's trade turnover with Caspian littoral states.
Over 3 months, Iran's trade turnover with the Caspian littoral states amounted to about 1.75 million tons worth about $881 million.
Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Iran are in the five Caspian littoral states.
