BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 26. Cargo transit through the customs of Iran’s Kermanshah Province in west of the country increased by 4 times in value and 13 times in volume, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Customs Inspector of the Kermanshah Province Customs Office, Bakhtiar Rahmanipour said, Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.

The customs official noted that about 138,000 tons of cargo worth $639 million were exported through the customs of the province in 8 months.

He added that the main transited goods via province’s customs were passenger cars, fruit, eggs, meat, equipment, etc.

According to Rahmanipour, the income of the Kermanshah Province's customs for 8 months increased 5 times compared to the same period last Iranian year. Thus, the income of the province’s customs for the reporting period amounted to 3.59 trillion rials (about $85.6 million).
