BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 18. Coal concentrate production of two companies operating under the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) increased by 72 percent during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the IMIDRO’s website.

The mentioned two companies are Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company and Central Alborz Coal Company.

According to the report, the two companies produced a total of 526,221 tons of coal concentrate in 8 months. The figure stood at 305,274 tons in the same period last Iranian year.

So, Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company produced 455,540 tons of coal concentrate, and Central Alborz Coal Company - 70,681 tons over the reporting period.

These companies extracted about 1.5 million tons of minerals in 8 months, which is 82 percent more than in the same period last Iranian year (823,000 tons).

Within 8 months, 511,205 tons of coal concentrate were sent by the mentioned two companies to local companies in the country. This is an increase of 60 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year (319,399).
