BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. Iran’s export of non-oil products through the customs of the Kaveh Special Economic Zone in the Markazi Province (central Iran), increased by 41 percent in value and 19 percent in volume, during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through January 20, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director General of Kaveh Special Economic Zone Customs Office Faramarz Omidi told ISNA, Trend reports.

According to Omidi, more than 530,000 tons of non-oil products worth over $257 million were exported through the customs of the mentioned zone in 10 months.

“The exported goods were mainly light hydrocarbons, aluminum cans, various bottles, copper wire, fruit juice, water heater, ceramics, water conditioner and so on,” he added.

The director general noted that the products were exported to 58 countries, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Türkiye, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Italy, Syria, India and Bulgaria.

In general, Iran exported more than 103 million tons of non-oil products worth $45.3 billion within the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through January 20, 2023). This is an increase of 2.9 percent in value and 17 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
