Meeting of the UNO European Economic Commission transport committee comes to end in Istanbul, Trend was told at the Transport Ministry (TM) of Azerbaijan.
Issues of transport corridors TransEurope and TransAsia linking have been discussed at the meeting, ensure of passenger and freight traffic security, traffic of dangerous goods and etc.
"The UNO evaluates highly the railway corridor Kars-Ahalkalaki-Tbilisi-Baku construction project and it is among the priority projects of this organization”, the Ministry noted.
Representatives of transport departments of Europe, CIS and other countries participated in the meeting. Azerbaijan has been presented by the TM delegation at the event.
