Industrial production in Azerbaijan comprised 18.8trln manats in the first half of 2005, or 20.1% more than 2004, the State Statistics Committee told Trend. It comes as the first highest indicator since 1942.
According to the State Statistics Committee, there is an increase both in oil and non-oil sectors of economy.
The 94% of the production falls on the industry, the 6% - on services of industrial type. The non-governmental sector comprises 65.7% of production with an increase of 30.1%.
The increase of the production and industry services linked with natural resources makes up 23.2%, the processing sector - 16%, electricity, gas and water supplying вЂ" 4.5%. The oil production rose by 22.6% in compare with 2004.
