DAWF ACCEPTED TWO NEW MEMBERS

The Germany-Azerbaijani Union for Economic Assistance (DAWF) held the next sitting of its members. During the meeting, two new members have joined the Union: the Austrian Ropla and the Azerbaijani-Turkish Azrturgaz, the DAWF executive director Elnura Gurbanova told Trend. Thus, the Union has now 49 members.

The Joint Venture (JV) Azrturgaz is engaged today in the liquefied gas marketing within the country. The company buys gas from the Joint Stock Company (JSC) �Azerbaijan Qaz Emali’ (the Azerbaijan gas-processing plant).

During the meeting the Board of Directors fifth member, the economist of the Technical Assistance Society (GTZ) Florian Schreder has been elected. Earlier, this position has been taken by the manager of the German-Azerbaijani Foundation Yorg Teumer, however was sent for work to Vietnam.

The report on the work done during the last two months, particularly, on holding the investment conference on Azerbaijan in Germany on 31 May-1 June was heard.
