The period on assessment of bids for 98,95% shares of the machine-building enterprise вЂ" the Joint Stock Company “Sumgayit Compressorlari” has been extended till 13 December, and the deadline for the documents submitting prolonged till 9 December, Trend reports. Earlier,
the deadline was set for 11 July and the bidders assessment вЂ" for 13 July.
Both local and foreign investors may take part in the competition. The preference will be given to the bidder with the advanced experience in the machine-building industry and offering the largest investment volume.
The bidders are to produce the bank’s guarantee letter or transfer 1,5 billion manats to the bank account of the department on privatization of the state property under the Ministry of Economic Development.
The winner is to transfer to the enterprise’s settlement account 5% of the total volume of the planned investments during 30 days from the date of signing the contract on buy-and-sale of the JSC’s shares, to transfer 4, 7 billion manats or $1 million to the state budget, to put forward at least 140,000 privatization vouchers.
