The International Finance Corporation (IFC) plans to implement project on support to leasing operations in four Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan, Rendal Petersen, the Director of the Azerbaijani project on development of leasing, implemented by the IFC and SECO, told journalists. According to Rendal, the project will start in August.
“The 2-3 best leasing companies from every country will receive access to cheap and long-term financing of the IFC. They will also be rendered with technical assistance,” Peterson said.
The budget of the program will make up $30 million for all member countries.
