AT CUSTOMS POSTS OF AZERBAIJAN 4 POS-TERMINALS INSTALLED FOR AUTOMATION OF PAYMENTS

The State Customs Committee (SCC), the International Bank of Azerbaijan and its processing company Azericard Ltd. practically finished the pilot project of automation (transfer on payment cards) of customs payments. At the Baku customs point and the car road customs post in Sulu вЂ"Tepe settlement per 2 POS-terminals, through which payments will be performed are installed, Azericard Ltd. told Trend.

"SCC should currently make up the list of the owners of cards, which are to be renewed for involvement in the pilot project”, the company pointed out.

The issue of the commissions for the bank and the company services and the system of their payments will be solved before autumn at the level of the SCC chairman Kamaleddin Heydarov and chairman of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) Djahangir Hadjiyev, followed by the signing the contract by the sides.

The works on the project has sped up after the President’s Decree “On strengthening of anti-inflation measures in Azerbaijan”, signed by the country’s President Ilham Aliyev on 31 May.
