The proposals of Milli Majlis (Parliament) on injection of some changes into the law on advertisement activities, which was adopted in 1997, are underway, Sevgim Rahimov, the President of the Coalition of Business Associations, told Trend.
According to Rahimov, the document is planned to be submitted to the Parliament till late 2005. The law must include program on self-control to balance processes in the internal market and withstand foreign impact.
According to Hajiami Atakishiyev, the President of the Union of Azerbaijani Advertiser, the injection of program on self-control into the law will provide liquidation of monopoly, development of advertisement market and transparence of incomes and expenditures.
