MEETING OF REPRESENTTAIVES OF MARKETING AND INFORMATION SERVICES OF EXCHANGES вЂ" MEMBERS OF CIS IEA STARTED

The first meeting of representatives of marketing and information services of exchanges, members of the International Exchange Association (IEA) begins its work on 6 October 2005 in Baku. The event staged on the initiative of the Baku inter-bank currency exchange (BICE) will last till 8 October, BICE told Trend.

Representatives of currency, stock and commodity exchanges from 6 countries, including Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus and Georgia will discuss measures in Baku for stimulating the growth of the information sales share in the total exchange turnover. To this end, the CIS IEA executive director Kuprin and representatives of the inter-bank currency exchanges from Moscow, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Tbilisi, Belarus arrive in Baku on 6 October.

The agenda of the meeting is discussion of joint information projects, including publishing activities and cooperation in broadcasting of trade and other exchange information to the terminals of international information agencies. On the results of the meeting adopting of a special resolution or address to the CIS IEA Board is expected.
