The Azerbaijani delegation participates in the Annual Assembly of the European Confederation of Internal Auditing Institutes. The event started in Cyprus on Saturday, Nigar Murtuzayeva, the chief of the Internal Audit Sector of the Auditors Chamber.
According to Murtuzayeva, Azerbaijan is represented at the Assembly by members of the public union Audit Azerbaijan.
The Assembly will discuss the results of the General Assembly of the organization held in Istanbul on 9 October 2004, hear financial report by the Presidnet of the Confederation, Ivz Chandelon and speech by audit committees, consider improvement of business-plan for 2005, approval of new members of the board and elections of new President of the Assembly for 2005-2006, approval of business-plan and budget for 2 years, determination of tersm and places of the meetings from 2006 to 2009.
The Organization with the headquarters in Brussel has 31 members, including Lithuania and Azerbaijan joined in October 2004, such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, French, Germany, Finland, Greece, Island, Italy, Russia, Tunis, Turkey.
