Azerbaijani specialist participates in the international conference organized by the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) in Deli, India. The event started in Deli on Wednesday, the Science-Agrarian Center of the Agriculture Ministry told Trend.
Lutfiyar Amirov, the Director of the Laboratory on Legumes, attends the 4th international conference dedicated to the research of legumes.
The conference is supposed to consider development of cooperation, growing of new sorts of legumes, as well as prospect of implementation of new projects in this direction.
The Center noted that Azerbaijan’s further participation in the events of the organization was discussed during the visit of Rajendra Paroda, the ICARDA coordinator on Central Asia and South Caucasus in July 2005.
The conference will be over on 22 October 2005.
