New tanker handed over in ceremony
A new, third, tanker under project 19619 вЂ" Shah Ismayil Khatai, built at the RussiaвЂ™s Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard, in the regional city of Nizhniy Novgorod, was handed over in a large ceremony in Baku on Tuesday. Attending the ceremony were Artur Rasizada, the Azerbaijani Prime Minister, and governmental officials, Caspar told Trend.
The tankers Shah Ismayil Khatai, President Heydar Aliyev, commissioned in November 2004 and Babak, in December, will function in the TRACECA routes.
KasparвЂ™s tanker, of вЂ�river-seaвЂ™ class, with 12 tankers has been designed for the transportation of crude oil and petroleum products (with the temperature of flaring at 60C), has double boarding (to prevent oil from spilling in case of accidents). The cost of the tanker is $13.5m.
