The second Baku Economic Forum, directed at expansion of the economic relations, will be held in 2006, Trend reports.
Following the announcement Intigam Husseynov, the head of the Azerbaijani-Russian Chamber of Business Cooperation, said that despite the plans on organization of such forum annually, it will not be held in 2005.
"As 2005 was announced a Year of Azerbaijan in Russian, it would not right to organize such event in Baku. So, we decided to postpone it to 2006,” Husseynov underlined.
Over 20 companies mainly with Russian enter the Chamber. The Chamber was established at the initiative of the companies Russkiy Aluminiy and LUKOIL.
