Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on additional actions for application of the Law on Land Lease of the Azerbaijan Republic with respect to strengthen a control over incomes from lease of lands under state property.
In accordance with the decree the following 7th paragraph is added to the Law on application of the Law on Land Lease, dated 12 March 1999: “Relevant executive bodies on implementation of measures in regard to lands under the disposal of the state enterprises, announced open for privatization and privatized by the state enterprises and facilities вЂ" the state committee on state property management, while the Taxes Ministry вЂ" on the rest plans.
By the law the fifth paragraph of Article 2 of the decree on the application of the Law on changes and supplements to some legislative acts of Azerbaijan, dated 26 December 2002, is given in a new edition. “The authorities of the relevant bodies of the executive power on implementation of measures in regard to lands under the disposal of the state enterprises, announced open for privatization and privatized by the state enterprises and facilities вЂ" the state committee on state property management, while the Taxes Ministry вЂ" on the rest plans, given in the 10th paragraph of Article 14 of the Law on Land Lease, the new edition reads.
The decree enacts into law on 1 January 2006.
