From January 2006 Baku will apply the agreements on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of evading income and property taxes, signed with Poland and China. The convention with Poland was signed on 26 August 1997, China - 17 March 2005, the Azerbaijan Taxes Ministry told Trend.
Besides, Azerbaijan also signed similar document with Croatia, UK, Norway, Turkey, Austria, Russia Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Germany.
Application of the agreements on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of evading income and property taxes with Lithuania and Rumania started in 2005. The agreements with Belgium, Switzerland, Pakistan, France and Germany are also confirmed.
