Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan submitted proposals to Government on city road infrastructure

The Azerbaijan’s Transport Ministry prepared and submitted its proposals to the country’s Cabinet of Ministers on solving the difficulties, caused by the traffic jams which arise in some streets and avenues, the Ministry told Trend.

The proposals suppose building of bridges, new roads, transport facilities and etc. During the regular familiarization with the city’s general state on 26 November President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions to the Ministry of Transport, the Baku executive power and other departments.

There was noted the necessity to extend some streets and avenues to avoid traffic impediments, construction of new two-storey or three-storey roads. The issue of demolishing the old houses with payment of compensations to their owners has been also proposed.
